Types Of Commercial Vehicles


A vehicle is elected “commercial” when it is named or registered to a company. A commercial vehicle is a category of motor vehicle that may be worn for transporting goods. A commercial Truck segment consists of many Sub- domains like Light Commercial Vehicle, Heavy Commercial Vehicles, and Tippers etc. A Commercial Vehicle is constructed in such an approach such that it should be competent in transporting all types of Goods. Today in current state CV Industry is mounting Day -by-Day. The Commercial Truck have low operating costs & powerful yet fuel efficient engines, and to be utilized in intra-city operations. Commercial Vehicles are the major players in the sales of any automobile company.

Light Commercial Vehicle: - LCV being a low cost vehicle are the major players in the sales of any automobile company. LCV are not very costly, they are available in a reasonable price. LCV’s are more fuel competent then others as they are easily accessible and take much less time to travel. Now days, Light Commercial Vehicles are in massive Demand & Companies are willing to fulfill their Demands of customer & make them satisfied. Light Commercial Vehicles are Fuel efficient consignment Trucks.

Heavy Commercial Vehicle: - HCV are also known as Heavy Duty Trucks. Heavy commercial vehicles are the trucks with a gross combination mass (GCM) of over 3,500 kilograms (7,716 lb).They are great in size, power, and configuration, with the smallest being mechanically similar to an automobile. Heavy duty vehicles are mostly used in Transportation of Heavy Goods. HCV are used in construction & mining which are too large for highway use.

Tippers :- A tipper, is a dump truck use to haul rock, sand gravel, asphalt, trash & anything else that needs hauling & dumping. These trucks are high competence, pliant Trucks .Tippers are value enhanced high Payload Truck used for various heavy segment. Besides other category these are in huge Demand. These are usually used for dumping the material from a place to another & that is the cause why it is called Dumper. Primarily the usages of a tipper was just to dump material but with the introduction of new technology, now a day’s these trucks are used for different application in commercial vehicles category. Tipper trucks play a great role in transportation expansion of a country as they are now used in different infrastructural projects like roads, dams, power plants etc.
